Identify the most sustainable and high-performing material for a mass-produced bike frame, balancing durability, stiffness, and environmental impact

(Materials analysis) CES Edupack

I conducted a full material selection process for an eco-friendly bike frame, using CES Edupack to filter candidates based on stiffness, strength, density, embodied energy, and CO₂ footprint.

I built performance indices, created Ashby plots, and compared final options with semantic differential scales.

My analysis led to the recommendation of bamboo for its optimal balance of technical performance, sustainability, and user perception.
